Why Acupuncture?

Qi (pronounced "chi") is your body's innate internal bioelectricity—the vital energy coursing through every cell along specific pathways called meridians.  Pain, illness, and disease result when the flow of Qi is obstructed or imbalanced.  Acupuncture is the science of inserting ultra fine needles at specific points along the meridians that returns the natural flow of Qi and assists the body in restoring its original state of health, balance, and function. Acupuncture is recognized by leading national and international health organizations to be effective in the treatment of a wide variety of health problems.
